JOB OVERVIEW/SUMMARY:

We are seeking an Administrative Assistant to support the Operations Department at our Qamishli office. The role involves managing office and warehouse operations, developing administrative policies and SOPs, implementing filing systems, and supervising housekeeping staff.

 

Key Responsibilities:

 

  • Ensure proper functioning and maintenance of the office and warehouse.
  • Assist to track facilities agreements. 
  • Oversee the housekeeping and maintenance of office and warehouse, both inside and outside.
  • Ensure office and warehouse are in compliance with SHAR health and environmental standards.
  • Ensure office is run in responsible manner including hosting guests, and
  • visitors, cleaning, and tidiness of premises
  • Run the office day by day and make sure that the premises are up to SHAR SOPs.
  • Liaise with Logistics for organizational events such as meetings, refreshments, and necessary equipment.
  • Support program in coordination with local authorities and other stakeholders.
  • Procure supplies for the office and warehouse, monitoring consumption using proper stock record systems.
  • Ensure that space, motivation, and incentives are provided to staff to develop and innovate.
  • Supervise housekeeper, ensuring adherence to cleanliness and safety standards.

 

Miscellaneous:

 

Provide support in fleet, asset, and warehouse management as needed.

 

QUALIFICATIONS:

 

  • Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Administrative Management or relevant field.
  • Work Experience: Minimum one year of experience in relevant fields non-governmental organizations preferred.
  • Excellent communication skills.

 

Languages: 

good in spoken and written English ,fluency in spoken and written Arabic.
