Scope of Work                                                                         

 

Renovation of the Cultural Center in Tal Tamer, NES

 

Convention:

The below specifications explain the minimum standards that must be met through renovation works and materials, in the below-mentioned structure. The recommendations below apply to all required works and includes all materials, labor and any necessary equipment that are necessary to fulfill the renovation works in this structure.

 

All the works must be executed in accordance with the contract and all project documentation^[1] and with the standard specifications.

All the works, activities and materials must be pre-approved by the assigned Engineer. The assigned Engineer keeps the right to provide additional guidance to ensure the final quality of the work.

Construction safety must be a top priority at the project site and for this purpose contractor responsible for providing safety requirements.

All materials used in the project shall be new and deemed to be of best available type/quality on the local market and as approved by the assigned engineer. If required by Shar for Development, the contractor will have to certify the quality and/or origin of material or equipment intended to be used.

The Contractor must employ a permanent resident engineer to be present at the project site during the execution period.

The Contractor shall keep a daily works journal and update it on a daily basis. The contractor shall report weekly, in writing, on the advancement of the works.

The Contractor shall report in advance if delays will occur in order to adjust the works schedule.

The Contractor shall give 2 days notice when reception visits are needed (for milestone achievements and final reception).

The item Description hereinafter includes "Supply of all materials, all Manpower, all Transportation, all Equipment, Tools, Machinery, all temporary works and all the other works required", as pre-approved by the assigned engineer.

The site should be clean during the work and the Contractor shall ensure cleaning and removal of all remaining materials after the end of the works, and their disposal to the place pre-approved by the local authority.

 

 

 

Description of works:

 

Providing and implementing cement wall covering for the interior walls of the center and the bathroom block.

Two layers of 350 kg/m3, with thickness not less than 2 cm.

Works and materials should be approved by the assigned engineer.

 

Providing and implementing acrylic paint and two faces for the interior walls of the center (all rooms in addition to the salon, the basement, the staircase, and the bathroom block) with wall scraping and puttying for places that require it, and all that is necessary.

Works and materials shall be approved by the designated engineer.

 

Providing and implementation of wall cement spraying (Trolia) two layers for the outer walls of the center.

Works and materials should be approved by the assigned engineer.

 

Removing the old tiles, providing and installing high-quality tiles for the floor of the center hall, with a cement mortar of not less than 350 kg/m3, and the thickness of the mortar must not be less than 3 cm, with polishing the tiles, and all that is necessary.

Works and materials shall be approved by the assigned engineer.

 

Center roof insulation works, including covering the roof with an insulating material to prevent water leakage, in addition to carrying out full roof cleaning work before starting.

Works and materials should be approved by the assigned engineer.

 

Providing and installing good quality ceramic tiles for walls and inside bathrooms.

The ceramic should be left in water before using it, then it should be installed well.

The walls must be treated if there is any loose tiles before starting the installation, and the corners and places of separation should be covered with stainless steel.

Works and materials should be approved by the assigned engineer.

 

Building a new toilet with dimensions: 120 cm x 250 cm next to the existing toilet, providing all necessary electrical fixtures and wiring and sanitary supplies, installing a good-quality, local white-colored porcelain sink, with a chrome water mixer, a drain plug and connecting the sink to the water drainage system and installing a stainless steel lid, with good quality ceramic tiling inside the toilet, in addition to all the necessary accessories.

Works and materials should be approved by the assigned engineer.

 

Providing and installing PVC doors for two bathroom blocks with a U-shaped frame, dimensions: 90 * 185 cm, with all necessary accessories.

Works and materials should be approved by the assigned engineer.

 

Providing and installing good quality brass faucets, size: 0.75 inch inside bathrooms, with 4 toilet hoses, and all that is needed.

Works and materials should be approved by the assigned engineer.

 

Providing and installing a high-quality three-layer PVC water tank with a volume of 1 m3 (1000 liter), with all required materials including a float valve and a 0.75 inch-sized slip plumbing ball valve.

Moreover, firmly placing the tank on the roof, and connecting it with the water supply inside the bathrooms and to the sink, with all the necessary accessories and materials.

Works and materials should be approved by the assigned engineer.

 

Providing a 60 cm wide porcelain sink, and well installing it on the wall. In addition to providing and installing mirrors, chrome faucet, soapbox, stainless steel sink, and all necessary accessories.

Works and materials should be approved by the assigned engineer.

 

Installing an iron door (steel profile) of at least 75 kg, with painting and providing all accessories, locks, and all that is needed.

Works and materials should be approved by the assigned engineer.

 

Maintenance of the wooden doors, including maintaining places of the locks, installing new locks, installing panels to cover the fractures and filling if necessary, and painting the doors, and providing all the requirements.

Door dimensions: 2 * 1 m.

Works and materials should be approved by the assigned engineer.

 

Maintenance of iron windows with joints, change of locks, painting and all that is necessary, with the installation of 4 pieces of window glass with dimensions: 35 cm * 50 cm.

Works and materials should be approved by the assigned engineer.

 

Maintenance of aluminum doors, including rectifying the doors and installing new locks.

Doors dimensions: 1 * 2 m.

Works and materials should be approved by the assigned engineer.

 

Installing a good quality wooden frame for windows above the door, 3 pieces, with polycarbonate sheets (glass-alternative plastic sheets).The dimensions of two of them are: 88 x 70 cm, and the other is: 87 x 34 cm.

Works and materials should be approved by the assigned engineer.

 

Deep cleaning and water-pressing the entire interior of the toilet units, removing all unnecessary materials, maintaining chimneys and raindrops, opening the entire sewage system, repairing fractures if any, and installing a cover for the main sewage channel.

Works and materials should be approved by the assigned engineer.
